Le conflit ethnique entre les Teke et Yaka dans le territoire de Kwamouth à Mai-Ndombe a pris des proportions trop inquiétantes. Le pire que nous craignions est malheureusement là.

Après les provinces voisines de Maï-Ndombe, Kwilu et Kwango, les affrontements entre ces deux communautés se sont exportés à Kinshasa.

Le vice-premier Ministre, Ministre de l’Intérieur, Sécurité, Décentralisation et Affaires coutumières, Daniel Aselo Okito lors de la réunion hebdomadaire du conseil des Ministres du vendredi 02 décembre que 12 personnes ont été tuées par les assaillants dans la commune de Maluku à Kinshasa.

« Passant en revue la situation sécuritaire dans quelques provinces, il a indiqué que la Commune de Maluku à Kinshasa est touchée aussi par les attaques des assaillants en provenance de Kwamouth. 12 compatriotes ont perdu la vie ces derniers jours. La police et l’armée sécurisent déjà cette zone », a indiqué le Ministre de l’intérieur cité par le porte-parole du Gouvernement dans le compte rendu de la réunion lu vendredi 2 decembre 2022.
