Guerre à l’Est: Constant Mutamba et ses pairs cèdent leurs salaires en soutien à l’effort de guerre

Cinq ministres dont Noëlla Ayeganagato, ministre de la Jeunesse ; Constant Mutamba, ministre d’État en charge de la Justice ; Thérèse Kayikwamba, ministre d’État en charge des Affaires étrangères ; Doudou Fwamba, ministre des Finances ; et Guy Loando, ministre de l’Aménagement du territoire, ont renoncé à leurs salaires afin de contribuer à l’effort de guerre.

Après la prise de Masisi, Steve Mbikayi, député national a proposé que les élus et membres du gouvernement contribuent financièrement à l’effort de guerre en cédant 10 % de leurs salaires chaque mois jusqu’à la récupération totale des territoires occupés par le M23 et ses alliés.

Dans son discours à la nation le 29 janvier, Felix Tshisekedi a annoncé une réduction prochaine du train de vie des institutions, une mesure qui vise à réallouer les ressources financières vers les Forces armées de la République démocratique du
Congo (FARDC) pour renforcer leur capacité à défendre la souveraineté nationale face aux agressions du M23 et de ses alliés.
