PLUS QU’UNE QUESTION DE TEMPS AVANT VALIDATION DU BUDGET DU PLAN TRIMESTRIEL D’URGENCE POUR LA GESTION DES CRISES ET DES CATASTROPHES


Le Vice-Premier Ministre, Ministre de l’Intérieur, de la Sécurité, de la Décentralisation et des Affaires Coutumières, Jaquemain SHABANI LUKOO , a présidé une réunion de validation du budget d’un plan trimestriel d’urgence dédié à la gestion des crises et des catastrophes.


Ce plan vise particulièrement à répondre aux besoins urgents des déplacés internes de Goma, des territoires environnants et des villages touchés par la guerre d’agression menée par le Rwanda et son supplétif, le M23. Ces populations, victimes du conflit, nécessitent une assistance rapide et efficace pour leur prise en charge.

Les intentions sont claires : il faut combiner les ressources et de mettre en commun les efforts afin d’assurer une gestion efficace des risques et des catastrophes. Cette approche permettra d’ajuster la stratégie nationale, telle que validée en août dernier, avec l’appui du Ministère des Affaires Sociales et Actions Humanitaires.

En renforçant la coordination entre les différents acteurs impliqués, ce plan vise à garantir une réponse rapide et adaptée aux crises humanitaires, notamment celles touchant les déplacés internes de Goma et les territoires affectés par la guerre d’agression menée par le Rwanda et son supplétif, le M23.

Le gouvernement congolais entend ainsi optimiser les ressources disponibles pour répondre efficacement aux besoins des populations vulnérables et améliorer la résilience des communautés impactées.

Dans une période particulièrement sombre, le gouvernement montre une fois de plus sa volonté d’apporter une réponse humanitaire adaptée face aux conséquences de cette guerre, conformément aux instructions du Président de la République lors de la 30ème réunion du Conseil des Ministres.
